Replenishing Summer Postpartum Electrolyte Drink

Description

You'll have this in your cup all summer long! The simple ingredients fuel your body for all stages of motherhood providing sources of sodium, potassium and vitamin C all in one bubbly summer drink. And one of the best parts about it is you can share sips with your littles (because we know they always ask for our drinks!) and know they are getting replenished as well. Happy sipping!

Makes about 18 ounces
  • 1/2 cup Sparkling Mineral Water
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Water
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice (*I prefer pulp free. It's better for your gut.)
  • 1/2 cup Lime Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 3 Fine Chopped Strawberries (*Strawberries are one of the fruits you should buy organic whenever possible. Non organic berries have high amounts of pesticides.)
  • 1 tbsp Raw Honey
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Fresh Basil (*Optional garnish)
Instructions

    Fill a drinking cup with ice.

    Pour all ingredients in. Mix to dissolve the honey & salt.

    Drizzle with additional honey on top of the ice at the end and sprinkle a few basil pieces on top for extra visual impact!
